Tips and Tricks for Windows 7

To be honest, I am no techie but the lovely Valerie Merril from http://www.merrillconsultants.com/ has sent me these handy little tips for those of you using Windows 7 so I thought I would share.

  • Right mouse click on the program application in the Start Menu to pin to Taskbar or Pin to Start Menu or both to get quick access to your program.
  •  In Excel use F5 Go To in a cell reference or choose Formulas to display all your formulas so you can use the Enter key or Tab key to move between cells with formulas.
  •  Use the F4 function key in Excel to absolute cell references and toggle through to get the reference you want.
  •  F11 in Excel can create you a new chart sheet for the selected data.

Valerie trains people who are moving over to Windows 7 so do give her a shout if you need a hand!
